'Aditya 369' In Tamil With Surya

It needs no introduction on the impact the film ‘Aditya 369’ created when it hit the screens. In a way, it was more of a cult classic given the genre and the subject. Now, it appears that the film has been taken as inspiration and arriving in Tamil with attractive packaging and big names attached to it.

Well, we are talking about the Tamil film ‘Ezhaam Arivu’ (7 am Arivu) starring Suriya and Shruti Haasan. This is directed by A R Murugadoss. Sources from Chennai reveal the story is about a scientist (played by Shruti) who develops a time machine and how the ancient history and culture of Tamil is discovered and restored from the baddies.

Meanwhile, Suriya would be seen in three roles as a fighting monk, circus artist and a scientist. By the looks of it, the film has a good flavor of ‘Aditya 369’ in it. What remains to be seen is whether today’s audience will give it the same reception like it was given few years back.
